Staircase Mount: Staircase Mount

Looking up from the bottom, select the side of the staircase on which the lift will mount. Because the lift mounts to the stairs and not to the wall, you can typically select either side based on your preference. However, if a permanent obstruction such as a protruding window sill exists, please select the opposite side.
The length of your staircase from the edge of the top landing to the floor at the bottom. The measuring tape should lightly touch each step and touch the bottom landing gently.
The width of your staircase from wall to wall or wall to railing (if applicable).
The height of a single stair. The height is the distance from the floor of one step to the floor of the next step. If the step has a "lip" or overhang, the measurement should be to the top of the "lip."
The depth of a single stair. The depth is the distance from the front edge of one step to the back rise. If the step has a "lip" or overhang, the measurement should begin at the front edge of the "lip."
Are there any obstructions (doorways, protruding walls, hallway openings, etc.) that could interfere with the operation of the lift at the top or the bottom of your staircase?
The distance from the edge of the top step to the nearest obstruction. The measurement should be taken from the side of the staircase that you've selected for the Staircase Mount above.
The distance from the bottom of the first rise (where the floor meets the stairs) to the nearest obstruction. The measurement should be taken from the side of the staircase that you've selected for the Staircase Mount above.

With a cable-operated system that uses a steel aircraft cable rated at 4,200 pounds breaking strength, you are guaranteed a smooth and safe ride. We understand that your comfort is very important and a necessary need, that is why we have selected the only cable driven stair lift provided on the market today. All other stair lifts run on a gear rack. The downside to this is that as the gears travel over the rack, gripping to each section, the stair lift jolts and leaves you with a bumpy ride. When your have back pains, leg pains or any pains for that matter; any jolts and/or bumps can cause even greater pain. Our cable unit provides a safe and smooth ride with exceptional comfort.

Another feature that separates this unit from its competitors is the 90 degree swivel seat that swivels at not only the top, but the bottom as well! This feature allows for a safe entry and exit of your stair lift. It also has safety sensors on each side of the footplate which stops the lift if there are any obstructions on the track or staircase. And don’t forget the call/send stations at both the top and bottom of the unit making it easy and convenient to bring the stair lift to you, no matter where you need it.
